PROJECT SUMMARY: The research study is to determine the available technologies produced, disseminated and commercialised by agricultural research institutes in Nigeria through a survey of the activities of the concerned institutes and research organizations. It also assesses the availability and adoption of the food production technologies by farm household. Farm households who produce and process Cassava, Maize, Rice and Tomato are targeted for the study.

To encourage quality research activities in the University in line with its vision to be a centre of excellence in knowledge generation for global development and the sustenance of an environmentally friendly society. This is in addition to strengthening research and scholarship by staff and students in all areas that will benefit society at the local, national and global levels.
